New Gate Project Cross in Hand

This is a new installation which we have worked on alongside MW Fencing. Matt and his team have installed the Gates with new wooden posts and the ducting for all the automation cabling.

We have custom made and fabricated all the bracketry for the Rams to go on. This installation was a vision that the customer was hoping for.

We installed a Roger Technology Ram Kit that has great value for reliability, along side making sure the customer is safe from any injury we have installed safety edges in gate closing area to prevent in crushing. These edges are there to reverse the gates should they get pushed, the system will immediately reverse the gates and stop and await another command from the user. These are a very important part of the installation for safety compliance.

We also installed a new Telguard intercom, this give the customer great flexibility without being tied down with a physical phone in the house. Telguard is a GSM based intercom, in short its a phone with a keypad attached for entry code input. This system is configured to call a list of pre-defined numbers. so should the first person not answer it will go onto the next one on the list, this also allows the customer to open the gates where ever they may be in the world.

Our Customer also wanted some lighting on the posts to help illuminate the drive way in the dark but didn’t want the lighting on all night. The customer provided these stylish black downlights with LED Lamps which OGD installed for them on a fused spur timer and photocell. This enables the light photocell to turn the lights on as it starts getting dark, but then turns them off at the customers set time.
